Frontier Insurance Rehabilitation and Liquidation
This firm does not represent any insurance carrier, surety, insurance parent company, or related entity. (Actually, we handle insurance bad faith actions against insurance carriers.) This is information is provided as a courtesy, much like a phone book or directory. Please do not serve us with any documents for these insurers, as your service of process will be ineffective. It would be like serving the folks that publish the Yellow Pages.
Contact Information for FRONTIER INSURANCE
(Updated 04/14/2005) Frontier Pacific Insurance Company, a member of the Frontier Insurance Group, was placed in liquidation by the California Insurance Commissioner on November 30, 2001. It had been placed in Rehabilitation on September 7, 2001. NOTE FOR CALIFORNIA LITIGATION: The 60-day mandatory stay for litigation involving Frontier Pacific’s insureds, described in the California Insurance Code will run through January 29, 2002. The applicable Court must be notified of the liquidation, and should be apprised of the language in California Insurance Code §1063.6. Frontier Pacific Insurance Company is part of Frontier Insurance Group. Frontier Insurance Group consists of Frontier Insurance Company (domicile: New York); Frontier Pacific Insurance Company (domicile: California); Frontier California Insurance Services (located in San Diego, California); L&E Titre de Propriete (Paris, France); London & European Title Insurance Services Limited, Reading, England; Slevin, Sold, Neubardt, Weisman, Samberg, Faillace and Mezzacappa (located in Mineola, NY and White Plains, NY); and United Capitol Insurance Company (located in Atlanta, GA). It is my understanding United Capitol was placed in liquidation several months ago. While not all of the Frontier Insurance Group companies are in liquidation, I would be surprised if the other companies are not far behind.
